Join AHRC NYC as a Crisis Intervention Clinician in our Bronx program, where you'll offer vital behavior management counseling to families both at home and in various community settings.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $66,000 per year, alongside an affordable, comprehensive health benefits package.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review referrals and conduct interviews with individuals, families, and relevant service providers.
- Deliver behavior management counseling to individuals and families in their homes, schools, and other locations as needed.
- Create and implement tailored behavior management plans, ensuring proper usage and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Conduct clinical assessments to evaluate individuals' functional capabilities and service requirements.
- Facilitate appropriate referrals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs for all clients, documenting each interaction, relevant DDP forms, and ensuring effective follow-up after service termination.
- Respond to program answering services and direct calls on a rotational basis.
- Contribute to the monthly activity reports, submitting them to your supervisor within five working days of month-end.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements regarding service provision, including comprehensive recordkeeping.
- Engage with clients in a legal and ethical manner.
- This position does not involve supervising others.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements outlined in relevant contracts.
