Your Role:
Pearce/Unified is in search of a dedicated Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Engineer) to join our team in Los Angeles, CA, and nearby regions. We seek individuals who are committed to excellence and eager to learn and grow. In this role, you will provide on-site preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance for critical power systems, including UPS, DC systems, inverters, PDUs, STS, and standalone reserve battery technologies. As a UPS Field Service Engineer with Unified Power, you will embody a proactive approach, ensuring swift and effective solutions to meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install various electrical equipment including small rack-mounted UPS systems, a range of batteries, and UPS/battery monitoring equipment.
- Maintain battery cabinets and racks, maintenance bypass systems, battery monitoring equipment, DC systems, and other electrical components.
- Conduct periodic and lifecycle-driven performance of remedial services including failure analysis, troubleshooting, component replacements, and battery string installations.
- Build strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and promoting additional products.
- Field troubleshoot customer issues until a satisfactory resolution is achieved.
- Respond promptly to urgent situations.
- Educate and mentor team members on best practices for site work.
