About the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and organization of ingredients, utensils, and equipment necessary for various recipes.
- Participate in preparing ingredients through peeling, chopping, slicing, dicing, and weighing food items as instructed. You may also be responsible for creating sauces, marinades, dressings, or other foundational elements.
- Ensure the kitchen and kitchen equipment are kept clean and in good working condition.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations in accordance with the standards set by the Sous-Chef and management.
- Receive, store, and label food products. Ensure proper inventory management and communicate supply needs to the Sous-Chef.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Assist Chefs de Partie in dish preparation.
- Plate dishes for service.
