We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Culinary Manager to become an integral part of our vibrant team in Bal Harbour. This role is vital in upholding our culinary excellence and ensuring the kitchen operates with efficiency and precision.
Newly appointed managers will undergo an extensive 8-week training program on-site, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for success.
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring impeccable food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards are met consistently.
- Inspire and lead a talented culinary team, providing mentorship and training to cultivate their growth and performance.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure all menu items meet our exacting standards of flavor and appearance.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food cost management to maintain budgetary goals while minimizing waste.
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and fostering a safe working environment.
- Encourage a collaborative workplace culture, promoting open communication and teamwork among all staff members.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality or a similar culinary management role, particularly in high-volume restaurant settings.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a knack for inspiring and motivating a diverse team.
- Thorough understanding of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid grasp of financial management principles, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory oversight.
- Strong communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with team members, executive chefs, and other departments.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
