About the job
As a Culinary Supervisor at MJHS, you will oversee purchasing and production activities, ensuring the delivery of efficient, sanitary, and high-quality food service while adhering to Kashruth law. Your leadership will guide our Food Service department in the preparation of hot meals for patient services, cafeteria, and catering functions.
You will ensure that all food handling and storage practices comply with safety and sanitation protocols. Collaborating with vendors and service providers, you will communicate food production needs for timely supply deliveries.
In addition to evaluating the quality and economical utilization of food products, you will work closely with the Director on menu planning to fulfill the needs of our patients and staff. Daily monitoring of production levels will help minimize waste, and you will manage performance, provide orientation, coaching, and training to your team.
Utilizing corporate resources, you will ensure appropriate staffing and resources are in place to support departmental services and participate in the annual budget preparation process.
