Custom, Enterprise & Foreign Rights Manager
Join a forward-thinking global publisher specializing in Higher Education products as a Custom, Enterprise, and Foreign Rights Manager. Based in our vibrant Hampshire office, you will play a pivotal role in our Higher and Vocational Education Publishing Team, ensuring the seamless execution of our custom and enterprise publishing initiatives. This position is essential for maintaining project timelines and optimizing pricing strategies, delivering outstanding results to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the custom publishing schedule from initial inquiry through to final delivery.
- Monitor and manage the tracking of the custom program from initial request to publication and sale.
- Ensure timely publication of projects that align with customer specifications.
- Participate in business meetings to provide updates on progress and new developments.
- Coordinate workflows with sales and commercial teams to enhance efficiency.
- Manage Foreign Rights requests and maintain the Bradbury-Phillips Foreign Rights database while liaising with the Royalties team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in custom and enterprise publishing or foreign rights management.
- Strong project management skills to guide projects through all stages.
- Excellent time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate across diverse teams, including sales, marketing, editorial, and production.
- Proactive mindset with adaptability to different customer profiles, such as academics, librarians, distributors, and publishers.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
