Role Purpose:
As a Customer Insights Intern for a 10-month placement, you will collaborate with the Customer Insights team to extract and convert customer feedback into clear, actionable insights. This internship is ideal for students taking a year out between their second and final university years, offering invaluable hands-on experience in customer research, analysis, and storytelling within a dynamic financial services landscape. You will engage with stakeholders across various departments, learning how insights drive decision-making and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing customer feedback from various channels (surveys, CSAT, NPS, comments, service interactions).
- Support primary research activities (surveys, interviews, unmoderated testing) through setup, note-taking, and basic analysis.
- Organize and synthesize findings into thematic summaries and actionable takeaways for stakeholders.
- Contribute to regular insight reporting (monthly performance summaries, recurring themes, emerging customer issues).
- Help create presentations and insight reports, translating findings into digestible narratives and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Customer Services) to address business questions and leverage insights.
- Conduct desk research on customer behavior, market trends, and competitor strategies to enrich insights.
- Maintain and enhance insight documentation and repositories for easy access and utilization.
- Adhere to best practices in research, including data privacy and consent management.
