Providing assistance to customers with inquiries and product recommendations
Processing sales transactions at the cash register
Ensuring cash security and protecting company assets
Keeping the store fully stocked and organized
Receiving and unloading merchandise, and restocking as necessary
Creating a positive, safe, and respectful environment for both customers and employees
Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking and cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash
Other assigned duties as needed*
Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
Highly preferred: Previous experience in customer service within retail, hotels, restaurants, grocery, or drug stores
Must be able to follow instructions and understand operational documents
Physical ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring frequent walking, standing, and lifting
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills
