RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Customer Service Representative at Thorlabs, you will be an integral member of our sales team, taking on an administrative role that emphasizes exceptional customer service. Our customer service department operates in a collaborative European environment, particularly during peak workload periods.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Processing and documenting customer orders
- Maintaining product data within our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system
- Generating quotations and addressing general customer inquiries
- Overseeing delivery follow-ups, returns, and customer concerns
- Assisting with system administration and updating order statuses
- Facilitating communication with internal departments as necessary
- Contributing to the timely completion of daily tasks
This is a full-time temporary position covering parental leave, commencing in early May and concluding at the end of January 2027. You will report to our Team Leader Tech Admin Europe, located in Germany.
