Role Overview:
As a Customs and Freight Compliance Coordinator, you will be instrumental in providing frontline support to our Race Logistics, Transport, and TPC teams. Your responsibilities will include managing the preparation and completion of all necessary customs documentation, such as ATA Carnets and freight invoicing, while ensuring full compliance with CAA, customs, and IATA regulations. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our global freight operations during all racing and testing events.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process ATA Carnet documentation for the temporary export/import of car components and equipment.
Draft precise freight invoices through collaboration with the Race Team, Project Management, and Logistics.
Generate commercial and proforma invoices while ensuring compliance for all internal and external shipments.
Guarantee that the trackside team is equipped with complete and correct documentation to meet stringent shipping deadlines.
Identify and arrange for the shipment of dangerous goods, ensuring compliance with IATA regulations.
Assist with hand-carry shipments and ensure accurate declarations for items transported via commercial flights.
Facilitate the temporary export of components under Outward Processing Relief as necessary.
Work closely with Transport and Logistics teams to ensure compliance with UK/EU legislation.
Support broader logistics activities, including part coordination, freight packing, unpacking, and kitting as needed.
