Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and train Entry-Writing/Customs House Brokerage (CHB) staff.
Allocate accounts and manage team workload effectively.
Assess staff performance and resolve any issues that arise.
Assist local branch Import Transportation teams with brokerage needs.
Resolve freight issues in collaboration with US Customs and other regulatory bodies.
Work closely with the Customs Brokerage Manager to enhance departmental efficiency.
Conduct entry work and perform audits for accuracy as necessary.
Oversee billing processes and track dwell time for all files.
Streamline procedures to improve Entry department workflows.
Facilitate the onboarding of new clients in line with sales or client-specific SOPs.
Ensure the accuracy of US Customs information on all documentation.
Execute special projects and provide support as directed by management.
