Position Overview
The Cybersecurity Engineer plays a pivotal role in applying extensive cybersecurity, security engineering, and operational expertise to support federal client missions. Blending threat analysis, operational insights, and security tooling experience, the Cybersecurity Engineer translates risks, policies, and investigative findings into actionable engineering and architectural requirements in alignment with Zero Trust principles. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments and create prototype solutions to bolster cybersecurity improvements.
- Convert investigative insights, risk assessments, and policy requirements into practical engineering and architectural recommendations.
- Design secure technical solutions in accordance with Zero Trust architecture and federal security standards.
- Leverage enterprise security tools, analytics platforms, and cyber operational methods to evaluate and enhance mission security.
- Research and identify emerging threats, technologies, and best practices pertinent to federal security environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including cyber operations, engineering, and leadership—to devise security solutions.
- Lead or assist in teams delivering impactful cybersecurity engineering work.
