About the Role:
The Cycle Counter plays a vital role in ensuring our inventory management processes are precise and efficient. By conducting regular cycle counts, this position identifies and resolves discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels, thus supporting our production, shipping, and purchasing teams. Collaboration with warehouse and production staff is crucial to enhance inventory accuracy and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily and scheduled cycle counts for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, focusing on location, quantity, and transaction errors.
Document findings and communicate recurring issues to leadership in inventory control or materials management.
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to rectify inventory errors and implement preventative measures.
Verify inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, and adjustments.
Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP or inventory management system.
Assist with physical inventory counts.
Adhere to inventory control procedures and internal controls.
Identify opportunities for enhancing inventory accuracy and counting methodologies.
