Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or in a comparable analytical role.Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.Strong SQL proficiency for querying and transforming large datasets.Proficient in Python (including Pandas, Polars, Dask, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, Jupyter) for analysis and visualization.Familiarity with Git and version control for managing analytical code and ensuring reproducibility.Proven ability to perform data cleaning, imputation/interpolation, and transformation at scale.Hands-on experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical techniques.Experience in integrating and connecting data from various sources to derive actionable insights.Proficiency in BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools like Power BI.Exceptional communication and interviewing skills for effective engagement with cross-functional teams.

In this pivotal role, you will blend technical analysis with the vital task of enhancing organizational knowledge. Collaborating with various teams across the company, you will identify and map available data sources, comprehend their applications, and compile this information into a centralized inventory for our Data Science and AI team.
Your role will not only position you as the primary expert on the data landscape within Assent but also enable you to deliver insightful analyses, dashboards, and intelligence that expedite model development, monitoring, and evaluation. This is a unique chance to contribute significantly to the foundation of data-driven AI innovations at Assent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with teams across the organization to uncover the data they utilize, its location, and access methods.
- Develop and uphold a central inventory of datasets, documenting metadata, ownership, quality checks, and access information.
- Utilize SQL and Python to query, clean, and analyze datasets, supporting exploratory data analysis (EDA), model development, feature engineering, and validation.
- Implement data cleaning, transformation, and interpolation techniques to manage missing or inconsistent datasets, ensuring reliability for downstream applications.
- Create reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Sigma to monitor data quality, dataset usage, and AI/ML performance metrics.
- Provide on-demand analyses to assist with AI/ML experiments, audits, and evaluations.
- Monitor data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, highlighting issues for resolution.
- Establish methods to reconcile and connect disparate data points across systems to create coherent, insight-ready datasets.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and the Data Science and AI group, facilitating smooth data access and knowledge transfer.
