We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Data Analytics Specialist.
The Data Analytics Specialist will be instrumental in aggregating and analyzing data from various sources, with the aim of enhancing Office operations, measuring staff performance, reducing crime rates, and addressing the needs identified by Office leadership. This role will involve collaboration with external agencies on data-driven projects aligned with our priorities. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT data specialists, prosecutors, and investigators to develop new analytical tools and facilitate their transition from development to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve, create, edit, and analyze high-quality data from diverse Office databases and systems for both regular and ad hoc reporting, catering to the needs of executives and senior staff.
- Participate in the report development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, database and report development using SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services, and crafting SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and analysis.
- Utilize data visualization tools to produce timely, accurate, and accessible reports, dashboards, and other data products for internal and external stakeholders, effectively conveying complex data relationships.
- Conduct program evaluations by identifying measurement outcomes, collecting relevant data, and performing statistical analysis to assess impacts and trends.
- Evaluate prosecutorial outcomes against Office metrics using various data sources.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Office operations and proactively engage in ongoing data transformation projects, integrating data from disparate systems into a centralized database format.
- Assess the accuracy of existing Office databases and devise strategies to enhance quality and consistency in collaboration with executive staff.
