Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Install, rack, and deploy new hardware including servers, storage, and networking devices.Troubleshoot hardware faults through diagnostics, part replacements, and RMA coordination.Maintain and update asset inventory and documentation.Implement structured cabling, labeling, and patch management.Monitor and manage power consumption, UPS systems, and environmental controls.Coordinate with vendors for onsite support and preventive maintenance.Implement physical security measures (access logs, CCTV, badge systems).Support operating system installations and configurations for both Windows and Linux servers.Assist in maintaining virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).Participate in backup/restore operations using tools like Commvault.Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.Support network troubleshooting tasks including VLAN configuration and basic switch/router operations.Document changes and maintain up-to-date operational procedures.Engage in audits and compliance checks as needed.Provide local support based on ticket requests.

As the primary onsite liaison for all data center operations, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning of servers, storage units, and network equipment. Your expertise will help manage access to data center facilities, ensuring compliance with stringent security protocols.
In this role, you will monitor environmental conditions, power supplies, and hardware alerts, coordinating with vendors for maintenance and repairs. You will also maintain meticulous documentation of assets and cabling, support remote IT teams, and participate in capacity planning and inventory management. Additionally, you will assist with backup and disaster recovery operations, while ensuring adherence to health and safety compliance standards. Onboarding and training new team members will be part of your responsibilities as well.
