Daily Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Data Governance Consultant
Work closely with client data management teams to establish comprehensive data governance frameworks.
Participate in initiatives focused on data quality, data lifecycle management, and enhancing governance practices.
Draft, update, and enhance policies, governance references, and operational guidelines.
Serve as a Data Steward for specific business units, effectively connecting IT, business, compliance, and security teams.
Evaluate existing data management strategies, identify gaps, and deliver actionable insights to enhance governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Offer expert guidance to clients that transcends initial requests, nurturing long-term partnerships.
Define and implement policies, roles, and responsibilities within the data governance structure.
Assist cross-functional teams in embedding governance principles into everyday operations.
Support clients in their digital transformation endeavors by ensuring data systems are clean, reliable, and compliant.
Bolster clients' data management frameworks to facilitate sustainable digital transformation.
Collaborate with Data Governance Managers and Chief Data Officers to maintain uniform governance practices.
Empower organizations to attain operational excellence through clean, high-quality data systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Science, Data Law, or Social Sciences.
2–3 years of relevant experience in data governance or related domains.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to bridge technical and business needs.
Familiarity with data quality, governance frameworks, and compliance principles.
