Role Overview
In this role, you will analyze, research, and process music metadata, converting it into structured and accurate information that supports clients in their royalty payments to Networks, Producers, Performing Rights Organizations, and other Music Copyright entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and record music metadata from electronic sources into our specialized processing systems for royalty reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of processed data in accordance with company standards.
- Identify and resolve both routine and complex discrepancies in metadata inputs.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to detect and address data-related issues.
- Handle miscellaneous priority tasks related to various metadata.
- Assist and guide fellow data processing team members as required.
- Collaborate with management and team members to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members.
- Support additional company projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L along with a relevant certificate or diploma.
- Proficient proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with shared Google Drives and effective email communication.
- Competence in Google Sheets and Docs, with a solid understanding of internet research and computer fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
