About the Role
As a vital member of the Compute team, you will contribute significantly to Anthropic's goal of creating safe and beneficial AI by managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure expenditures. Your efforts will directly influence the efficiency of our multi-cloud and data center operations, from forecasting infrastructure needs to improving utilization and reducing costs across compute, storage, and networking resources.
You will collaborate closely with Compute Finance, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product teams to convert raw cloud billing data into actionable insights that drive capacity planning and allocation. Your role will involve building comprehensive visibility into our infrastructure spending, forecasting capacity requirements, accurately attributing costs across teams and workloads, modeling resource demand curves, and identifying optimization opportunities across our infrastructure.
