As a Data Science Manager at Visa, you will play a crucial role in our Data Labs, executing and implementing data-driven projects for our clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the complete design and delivery of data pipelines that support analytics platform deployment.
- Creating scalable, production-grade data pipelines while ensuring robustness, security, and compliance with engineering best practices.
- Establishing and maintaining data governance, technical designs, and operational documentation to ensure platform sustainability.
- Analyzing large and complex datasets using SQL, Python, Spark, and statistical methods to derive actionable insights.
- Developing and applying statistical and data science models to optimize portfolio performance and strategies.
- Translating business and analytical requirements into production-ready data and modeling solutions.
- Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and analytical layers using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView.
- Implementing automation, reusable components, and self-service features to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (VCA, Data Labs, VIS, Technology) to provide integrated solutions.
- Ensuring that solutions meet quality, performance, and scalability standards while promoting best practices in data and analytics.

Your contributions will be pivotal in expanding our Data as a Service business across the Asia Pacific region, enhancing our Implementation Services Data Labs capabilities. You will lead efforts to scale, diversify, and transform our data services, driving the adoption and delivery of data projects while nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Visa teams and vendors, as well as supporting our clients.
Projects you will engage in:
- This position is key to delivering data services to Visa clients through Implementation Services, a highly sought-after business line. Once established with initial clients, you will help scale these services across other AP markets.
- Projects will emphasize creating impactful data narratives while collaborating with various parties to identify client data opportunities and enabling sales initiatives.
