Meet the Database Team
The daangn Database Team supports four DBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB. Unlike many companies where tasks are divided by DBMS types or services, our team allows everyone to choose tasks across different DBMS freely. Team members can participate in each other's tasks at any time, fostering collaborative work.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate DBMS capacity and prepare DBMS servers, including modeling and query tuning.
- Conduct backup and recovery activities to prevent data loss in DBMS.
- Monitor server issues and troubleshoot for optimal DBMS operations.
- Learn and research to introduce new DBMS and related technologies that meet business requirements.
- Develop software for automating and monitoring DBMS server operations.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in RDBMS operations (at least 3 years in MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of the operating principles of transactional RDBMS (Redo & Undo logs and transaction processing).
- Knowledge of B-Tree, R-Tree, and Vector indexes in DBMS and execution plans.
- A strong sense of responsibility for assigned tasks and a positive attitude towards challenges with new technologies.
- A passion for DBMS technology analysis and discussion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating Aurora RDS in AWS environment.
- Experience in developing DBMS management tools (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
- Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes.
Additional Information
- For full-time positions, there is a 3-month probation period.
