We aim to enhance revenue by developing transformative commercial strategies and facilitating the successful closure of Stripe’s diverse deal portfolio. Our influence spans across Stripe and is not limited to any single sales segment or geographical region; we drive impactful change that resonates throughout our go-to-market strategies, benefiting both Stripe users and cross-functional teams. Our priorities align with the vision of Stripe leadership, collaboration with sales and various organizational departments, and insights gleaned from user feedback and market trends.
Your Role
We are on the lookout for a Deal Strategist to join our Global Business Services team, focusing on the closure of customized and standard commercial agreements. You will oversee deal lifecycle management and foster cross-organizational alignment. This role requires a proven track record in driving custom deals to closure, a comprehensive understanding of pricing frameworks, and extensive experience in supporting sales negotiations.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in SaaS products, adept pricing strategies, and experience in supporting sales initiatives. Excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships and mechanisms are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire customer deal lifecycle—drafting, editing, and reviewing agreements—ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful closure as forecasted.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, and other cross-functional teams for all deal-related inquiries, approvals, and escalations.
- Collaborate directly with sales teams, leaders, services/support teams, and clients to advise on deal structures, develop compelling commercial terms, and resolve customer issues.
