Your Role and Impact:
As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and behavioral objectives of all students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers to assess the strengths and needs of students, assist in classroom intervention strategies, adapt general education curricula as necessary, and support students with their regular assignments.
- Administer diagnostic assessments to inform instruction.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to understand student behaviors.
- Develop and implement behavior improvement plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Lead IEP meetings and craft specific IEP goals and objectives.
- Consistently strive to achieve all student-related goals and objectives.
