Join the Mortgage Assistance Team
The Mortgage Assistance team is comprised of dedicated and compassionate professionals who deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners grappling with financial difficulties affecting their ability to meet monthly mortgage obligations. This team takes ownership and provides support by educating homeowners on available Mortgage Assistance programs and guiding them through the entire process to avert foreclosure. Each team member possesses extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and is committed to advancing Valon's mission of promoting homeownership.
Role Overview:
The Default Associate - Mortgage Assistance Document and Closing Specialist is responsible for managing the closing of loan workout packages, ensuring adherence to guidelines set forth by investors, insurers, state authorities, the federal government, and the CFPB. This position requires meticulous management of all post-approval activities related to loss mitigation workouts, guaranteeing their accurate and timely completion. You will serve as a crucial liaison between internal departments and external entities to finalize agreements, resolve outstanding conditions, and ensure a smooth transition of accounts, ultimately reducing risk and optimizing recovery for our organization.
