Role Overview
The Delivery Operations Associate plays a vital role within our Hardware Services team, working closely with our Returns Material Authorization (RMA) specialist to ensure seamless operations involving returns, shipping/receiving, hardware provisioning, and device evaluation/troubleshooting. As we centralize our RMA operations in San Diego, this role will be essential in building efficient, scalable processes that benefit both our Enterprise and Plus business units. Please note that this position requires on-site presence due to the hands-on nature of inventory management and shipping/receiving tasks.
Location: San Diego, CA - On-site, 5 days a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with RMA lead to streamline operations from various locations to San Diego.
- Process, assess, and monitor all RMAs with a target turnaround time of less than 5 days.
- Receive and handle all returned field hardware.
- Conduct hands-on device evaluations and troubleshooting to identify root causes of failures (e.g., user error, manufacturing defects, environmental damage).
- Test returned devices to reproduce reported issues and confirm defects.
- Handle specific returns that require sterilization to ensure safe processing.
- Oversee the shipment and receipt of repairable items with external service providers.
- Maintain RMA records in Salesforce and NetSuite with thorough failure analysis.
- Manage discrepancies in returns to facilitate proper resolution.
