Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate and a monthly bonus based on performance, with top-performing Hygienists earning up to $78/hr plus bonuses. You will receive clear and supportive guidance to help you succeed without unexpected surprises—just ample opportunities!
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), gingivitis scaling, oral cancer screenings, Itero scans, sealants, Zoom whitening, Perio Protect, Curodont, fluoride treatments, and patient education, all in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize your schedule, manage sterilization and room turnover, and ensure thorough patient care and documentation.
- Work alongside dentists for hygiene exams to assess and recommend treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Proactively enhance hygiene production by maximizing chair time, recommending preventive care, and supporting same-day treatment options.
- Thrive within Tend’s Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, working closely with dental assistants to provide efficient, high-quality care and improve the patient experience in a collaborative, team-oriented clinical environment.
- Build strong relationships with patients through effective communication, trust-building, and personalized education.
- Engage with the broader studio team—including doctors, assistants, and operations leaders—to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities, internal hygiene forums, and peer collaboration.
