We are thrilled to announce a new opening for a Deployment Engineer to become a vital member of our international team. As an adept Deployment Engineer based in the UK, you will be essential in delivering our innovative products to clients. You will work in close collaboration with our commercial and engineering teams to ensure an efficient sales, integration, and deployment experience. This role calls for a well-organized, technically skilled individual who possesses excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Your primary responsibility will involve traveling across Europe to deploy our robotic solutions at various warehouse sites. It is essential that you are available to travel for 1-2 weeks at a time.
Note: When not traveling, you will be required to work onsite at our Wallingford location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough technical knowledge of computer systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in autonomous hardware systems or computer vision applications.
- Hands-on experience with hardware in operational settings, including system assembly, disassembly, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Act as the primary contact for customers during the deployment and installation of hardware and software platforms.
- Collaborate with customers to plan and schedule installations, integrating mechanical, electrical, software, and network components.
- Conduct on-site visits to perform system setup, configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting in alignment with project specifications.
- Produce, maintain, and update installation, deployment, operational, and troubleshooting documentation for both customers and internal teams.
- Ensure effective communication with customers to address technical issues and guarantee the successful completion of deployment tasks.
