Position Overview:
Empower Brands is on the lookout for a meticulous and solutions-focused Accountant to enhance our service center accounting operations. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring precise financial reporting, refining internal processes, and fostering a high-performing accounting environment. The Accountant will directly report to the Accounting Manager and work collaboratively with various cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, showcasing exceptional analytical abilities, a proactive approach, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks with precision and professionalism.
Core Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end close tasks encompassing RBJK, Billing, Franchisee Distributions, and Vendor Accounts Payable.
- Act as the lead accountant for processes supporting operational leads in the St. Louis and Las Vegas markets.
- Address and resolve accounts payable and receivable inquiries and issues.
- Conduct daily reconciliations of cash, check, and credit card transactions with accuracy.
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Collaborate with management and staff to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in the implementation of Sage Intacct for new markets.
