Requirements
This high-impact position revolves around Platform Engineering and Developer Experience (DevEx). You will take comprehensive ownership of our internal development ecosystem, enhancing it into a robust, self-service platform that simplifies infrastructure complexity. Your objective is to design and maintain the 'Golden Path': the standardized, automated pathway from local code to a production-ready state. You are a versatile engineer who perceives infrastructure as a product, and internal developers as your primary clients.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Platform Product Management: Assume end-to-end ownership of the internal developer platform, identifying bottlenecks in the software delivery lifecycle and devising automated solutions to address them.
- Golden Path Engineering: Design and refine standardized deployment patterns that embed security, compliance, and observability, allowing product teams to concentrate solely on business logic.
- Tooling Infrastructure: Oversee the lifecycle of our self-hosted engineering suite (e.g., GitLab), ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless integration with the broader ecosystem.
- Continuous Delivery Evolution: Promote the adoption of modern deployment methodologies (such as GitOps) to guarantee declarative, reproducible, and auditable state management across all environments.
- Software Security and Robustness: Build secure and resilient software by adhering to best practices.
