About the Role
You will join a dynamic DevOps team tasked with advancing our cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks across various environments. You will have the freedom to design, construct, and enhance our infrastructure systems while facilitating developer productivity on a large scale.
What You'll Do
- Create, develop, and sustain CI/CD pipelines for all HackerRank environments from development through to production.
- Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS), ensuring scalability and reproducibility.
- Champion and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams, focusing on CI/CD hygiene, observability, and cost-effective architecture designs.
- Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems using tools like OpsGenie, New Relic, and ELK.
- Enhance the performance and utilization of critical systems such as Redis, RDS, Redshift, ElasticSearch, and Kafka.
- Collaborate with security and platform teams to guarantee compliance, resilience, and threat mitigation across cloud environments.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at cloud cost optimization and infrastructure efficiency.
Who You Are
- Possess 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS (experience with GCP is a plus), including EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, and IAM.
- Proficient in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux (Ubuntu).
- Demonstrated scripting or coding skills in Python or Java.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning principles.
- A collaborative individual capable of working alongside developers, QA, and leadership teams to drive platform enhancements.
