Qualifications
Essential Job Duties:
Support the Registered Dietitian in providing safe, therapeutic nutrition services tailored to meet the diverse needs of WelbeHealth participants.
Ensure proper storage protocols for vendor-prepared food prior to meal service.
Accurately measure and record food temperatures upon delivery and at scheduled intervals before serving, ensuring compliance with WelbeHealth policies and procedures.
Prepare and plate meals according to participants’ dietary needs, preferences, and special requests as indicated on dietary cards.
Label and date all perishable items in WelbeHealth refrigerators and freezers, including pre-packaged meals for home delivery, ensuring freshness and safety for consumption.
Maintain inventory records for dishes, silverware, food supplies, and cleaning materials, placing orders for replacements as necessary.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current CA Servsafe and Food Handlers Certification.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in food service or preparation.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
CPR and First Aid certification required within 180 days of hire; current certification upon hire is preferred.
