As a Dietitian at Clinique Saint-Jean, you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients towards healthier lifestyles. Through your personalized nutritional advice, you will help patients feel better, recover faster, and make informed dietary choices. You will be part of a cohesive team of healthcare professionals where your contributions genuinely make a difference.
In this role, you will be responsible for the dietary needs of hospitalized patients in various departments, including internal medicine, cardiology, intensive care, and psychiatry (upon physician request).
Your responsibilities include:
- Involving in menu development and providing nutritional guidance to patients to implement balanced dietary programs tailored to their needs.
- Assessing the nutritional status of patients.
- Defining and applying necessary nutritional care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and in accordance with medical prescriptions.
- Advising patients and their families on dietary plans.
- Updating patient records and performing administrative tasks related to dietary follow-up.
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Writing informational materials (or brochures) on nutrition.
- Contributing to menu coding.
- Ensuring compliance with kitchen hygiene regulations and verifying that meal trays meet the nutritional needs of patients.
