The Digital Account Director/Subject Matter Expert will spearhead digital revenue growth across NBCUniversal's diverse digital platforms by crafting and delivering innovative advertising solutions to our clients. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of NBCUniversal's advertising products, including those offered through Peacock, NBCU Network, Cable Assets, Local Owned Station Sites, and Sports channels such as NFL, NBA, Olympics, and World Cup. The Account Director should possess exceptional consultative selling skills to effectively tailor solutions that address client needs, ultimately closing deals and driving revenue. Collaborating with local markets, the Director will identify new business opportunities, foster relationships that ensure high client retention, and promote a deep understanding of digital products among clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Sales Leadership
- Collaborate closely with assigned local market (NBC/Telemundo) sales leadership and Account Executives (AEs) to drive revenue, participate in key client meetings, and lead digital discussions.
- Analyze advertising sales programs to measure performance against desired outcomes.
- Support AEs and Business Development teams in identifying and capitalizing on programmatic opportunities.
- Become an advocate for all aspects of digital products and sales, including research and attribution.
Communication
- Act as an internal subject matter expert, developing tools and messaging for all internal stakeholders.
- Foster communication and collaboration across departments, including Strategy, Pricing & Planning, Marketing, Research, and Client Solutions.
Additional Duties
- Contribute insights to the digital sales training curriculum for the division.
- Offer feedback on sales go-to-market materials.
- Assist the SVP with ad-hoc projects and analyses.
