Position Overview
As the Direct Mail Account Manager / Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of direct mail accounts. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring exceptional output from start to finish. While the channel strategy lead focuses on overarching strategy, you will execute the plan and ensure a seamless client experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining transparency with clients and alleviating leadership concerns about gaps in communication.
Your Responsibilities
Manage daily communications with clients in your portfolio
Oversee campaign timelines from initial brief to mail drop, ensuring all details are meticulously managed
Provide proactive updates to clients, ensuring they are informed before they need to ask
Coordinate with internal teams, including creative, data, and print vendors, to meet deadlines
Identify and escalate risks early, presenting solutions alongside challenges
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including creative approvals, list specifications, drop dates, and performance reviews
Serve as the first line of support for delivery issues, USPS tracking, and campaign discrepancies
