Your Impact
As the Director of Artificial Intelligence, you will report directly to Axon’s VP of Engineering for Dedrone and play an essential role in the Dedrone Leadership team. Your primary focus will be spearheading machine learning platform initiatives that harness Dedrone's extensive and expanding network of sensors, signals, and data to deliver significantly improved outcomes for our public safety clients and the communities they serve.
As a thought leader in machine learning engineering and a vital collaborator within Dedrone’s product and technology sectors, you will pinpoint strategic opportunities and build, manage, and retain a high-performing team of ML Platform engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering and scalable distributed systems architecture, along with a proven track record of executing successful hands-on projects and effectively leading machine learning engineering teams. You will engage in active collaboration with fellow engineering, science, and product teams to deploy and operate services at scale. We seek a bold individual ready to embrace challenges.
