We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Capture Management to spearhead growth initiatives and secure significant enterprise-level pursuits. This key leadership position demands innovative thinking, exceptional consultative sales skills, and the ability to guide complex sales processes. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Growth for the Buildings + Places Global Business line, you will be responsible for devising and executing effective strategies, encouraging collaboration across regional and global business lines, and maintaining operational excellence throughout the pursuit lifecycle. This role provides flexibility with remote work options and travel as required.
Your responsibilities will include extensive collaboration on a global scale, working with teams across various regions and engaging in major initiatives, with a strong focus on the Americas. You will also lead cross-business line pursuits, promoting AECOM’s comprehensive service offerings, particularly within the Buildings + Places sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major pursuits as the consultative sales process director, utilizing strategic insights and business development best practices to create compelling win strategies.
- Direct discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for transformative programs with existing and prospective clients.
- Analyze competitive environments, extracting lessons from wins and losses to fine-tune strategies.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere, utilizing multidisciplinary teams from global and regional offices to achieve client-focused results.
- Ensure seamless integration between technical, marketing, and bidding teams to optimize proposal practices.
- Champion the sales process lifecycle, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with Go/No-Go protocols.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement strategic campaigns aligned with key opportunities.
- Guarantee adherence to the commercial, financial, legal, and governance standards of contracts.
- Drive accountability for achieving sales metrics and high capture rates.
- Align AECOM’s initiatives with client priorities, emphasizing sustainability and innovative solutions.
- Help build and sustain a diverse pipeline of qualified opportunities, aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Establish trust with client decision-makers and internal stakeholders, including Client Account Managers (CAMs).
