The Director of Communications plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction of both internal and external communications for the Americas region, aligning communications strategies with the overarching objectives of Bosch Home Comfort Group.
This leader will collaborate closely with global communication teams across Bosch Home Comfort and the larger Bosch organization to maintain a unified communication strategy on significant initiatives that influence the company’s operational landscape, while managing issues that affect the company’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting and executing approved annual and multi-year strategic communications plans.
- Advising senior leadership on communications strategy and serving as a trusted thought partner.
- Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to advance the company’s strategies through proactive communications initiatives, addressing challenges, enhancing alignment, and articulating the company’s mission, vision, and key priorities.
- Recruiting, managing, and developing a high-performing communications team.
- Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing support across the company for public relations, writing, editing, presentations, and other public-facing activities, as well as internal communications efforts such as webcasts, scripts, blogs, and presentations.
- Overseeing the engagement of external resources, including public relations agencies.
- Managing the production of effective and timely corporate communications materials.
- Reviewing requests for corporate sponsorship and event participation as necessary.
- Leading multiple successful communications projects and events while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Engaging with a diverse audience, including media representatives.
