Job Summary:
The Director of Embedded Software will spearhead the design and implementation of embedded software strategies for Pison's cutting-edge neural biosensor devices. This pivotal role encompasses overseeing the entire embedded software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced leader, with a robust background in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and firmware development specifically tailored for low-power consumer or wearable devices. A fervor for advancing technology and a thorough understanding of the intricacies involved in integrating software with state-of-the-art hardware are crucial.
Supervisory Responsibilities

- Oversee the integration of device software with mobile and cloud applications, utilizing internal and external firmware resources.
- Lead the strategy for software testing to ensure performance, reliability, and security standards are met.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, data science, and product management.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property and assist with patent applications.
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
