Position Overview
The Director of Product Infrastructure and Release Engineering is a pivotal senior leadership position responsible for setting the strategic vision and executing the infrastructure and release capabilities at Mechanical Orchard. This role encompasses management of infrastructure products, installation and deployment workflows, and operational support for clients and engineering teams.
In this capacity, you will:
Report directly to the VP of Engineering, guiding strategic direction, product development, and cross-functional collaboration across Platform, Engineering, Sales, Security, and Product Management.
Lead and nurture the Product Infrastructure and Release Engineering teams.
Ensure the Imogen Platform is not just delivered but is architected as a scalable, repeatable, and evolving product that enhances customer adoption and long-term success.
Oversee the release and deployment of all Imogen components into various customer environments, ensuring compliance with enterprise-level needs such as quality standards and software supply chain audits.
Transform infrastructure into a premier product capability: prescriptive when feasible, adaptable when needed, and in line with Mechanical Orchard’s modernization strategy and go-to-market objectives.
