Position Overview
Reporting directly to the VP of Business Finance, you will take on a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering financial performance and ensuring robust financial operations within Verve Marketplace, our largest AdTech business unit. This role aligns with our centralized Finance Operating Model and encompasses oversight of commercial finance, financial operations, and legal entity accounting. You will closely collaborate with Business Unit leadership to facilitate informed commercial decision-making while adhering to Group Finance standards and governance.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Operations (FinOps)
Manage commercial financial operations, focusing on revenue tracking, cost management, and working capital visibility.
Foster operational efficiency and continuous improvement across finance processes.
Guarantee the consistency, accuracy, and integrity of financial data throughout reporting systems.
Legal Entity Accounting
Lead and support accurate and timely financial close processes in collaboration with Group Finance.
Ensure comprehensive and accurate financial inputs from the Business Unit into Group reporting.
Serve as the primary contact for accounting matters, ensuring compliance with Group policies and local regulations.
Governance & Controls
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and governance standards.
Assist in implementing Group-led finance initiatives, systems, and processes.
Identify, manage, and escalate financial risks within the Business Unit as necessary.
Strategic Finance Business Partnering
Act as a key finance partner to Business Unit leadership and commercial teams.
Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to enhance financial performance.
