As the Director of IT & Security at Dexory, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing the strategic direction, execution, and governance of all internal IT services as well as security and compliance for the organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our employees, systems, and infrastructure are fully supported, secure, resilient, and aligned with the fast-paced growth and innovation of a technical scale-up.
In collaboration with various teams—including engineering, operations, HR, and commercial—you will oversee seamless IT onboarding, systems management, vendor procurement, infrastructure development, and regulatory compliance. You will be the trusted leader for all IT and security matters, empowering the business to scale with confidence and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with business goals, covering infrastructure (on-premises, cloud, hybrid), end-user computing, collaboration tools, service desk, and lifecycle management.
- Establish and manage the IT security and compliance strategy, including policies, controls, risk frameworks, audits, vendor assessments, incident response, identity and access management, and data governance.
- Oversee the IT and Security budget and vendor contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery for employees across multiple teams and countries.
- Lead the IT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring that new hires receive the appropriate systems, access rights, collaboration tools, and security training, while properly de-provisioning existing team members.
- Maintain operational stability of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services, backups, disaster recovery, patching, and monitoring while upholding high service levels throughout the organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads (Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, Product) to ensure their systems and workflows are secure, supported, and scalable.
