Direct Reports: initial team of 2-3, plus 5-6 indirect reports
Location: any US hub office (Boston, Seattle, Scottsdale, San Francisco, Denver)
Travel expectations: occasional travel to engage with companies in acquisition processes
Your Impact
As the Director of M&A Integration, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration of Axon’s acquisitions while sustaining growth momentum. Reporting directly to David, you will spearhead the post-merger integration strategy and execution throughout the organization, aligning cross-functional teams for swift and effective outcomes with minimal disruption.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the full spectrum of post-merger integration for acquisitions, from pre-close planning to execution and stabilization.
- Establish and manage a scalable Integration Management Office (IMO) that transforms deal strategies into actionable integration plans.
- Collaborate with Corporate Development and executive leadership to align integration priorities with Axon’s strategic growth initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional integration efforts across Finance, HR, IT, Product, Sales, Legal, Operations, and other essential departments.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for integration planning, sequencing, and progress, ensuring deadlines and commitments are honored.
- Design and continuously enhance Axon’s integration operating model, including governance, cadence, and decision-making processes to optimize speed and clarity.
- Guarantee Day 1 readiness and continuity of operations for acquired entities, customers, and partners.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate integration risks proactively.
