Integrates bar operational targets within the comprehensive Food & Beverage plans.
Fosters an inviting atmosphere across all bar venues that consistently meets or surpasses guest expectations.
Recruits a bar leadership team that exemplifies technical proficiency, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit to fulfill operational needs.
Ensures all new hires engage in the department’s orientation program and receive tailored bar and mixology training for optimal job performance.
Manages bar operations in accordance with the directives established by Rixos Hotels Egypt management.
Supervises bar operations adhering to established procedures, sets objectives, communicates these goals, and ensures they are met. Effectively relays decisions from senior management to team members and guarantees proper implementation.
Oversees all aspects of the Bar and Mixology Department's business and functions.
Enhances departmental profitability through strategic beverage operations.
Directs operations to guarantee the highest standards of beverage quality and bar service delivery.
Analyzes and controls key performance indicators, including:
• Beverage sales and costs
• Presentation quality and service standards of beverage products
• Proper maintenance and care of bar equipment and utensils
• Initiatives to boost guest satisfaction and service quality
• Monthly employee turnover within the bar team
Strengthens business relationships among employees in the bar department.
Responsible for developing training programs for the Bar Department and conducting mixology training sessions for staff.
Facilitates meetings to gather operational insights and achieve departmental objectives.
Creates and presents innovative cocktail menus and beverage lists, considering guest purchasing power and local market trends.
Collaborates with department managers to ensure successful event planning and execution within the hotel.
Participates in departmental and management meetings as scheduled by hotel management.
Updates the following areas related to bar and mixology operations in line with hotel policies and procedures:
• Financial management, standards, employee training, outlets, and entertainment
• Conducts promotional activities to boost beverage sales and support banquet functions
• Ensures the protection, maintenance, and timely replacement of bar supplies and equipment
Develops and monitors the monthly and annual beverage department budget.
Establishes minimum and maximum storage levels for bar supplies, spirits, and equipment.
Contributes to the formulation of the hotel’s revenue strategies and marketing initiatives related to beverage operations.
