About the job
Acumatica is looking for an accomplished Procurement Director to establish and lead a forward-thinking procurement strategy that facilitates our organization’s growth and operational sophistication.
This is a pivotal leadership position, distinct from traditional purchasing roles, aimed at leveraging business opportunities through strategic sourcing, astute commercial insights, and robust spend accountability. The Procurement Director will play a crucial role in influencing investment strategies and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will oversee the comprehensive procurement strategy across software, cloud infrastructure, professional services, marketing, and corporate expenditures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Marketing, and HR teams to ensure intentional investments, effective negotiations, and transparent operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who thrives in dynamic environments, adeptly navigates between strategic vision and operational execution, and embraces the challenge of structuring processes in evolving contexts. Your insights will significantly contribute to enhancing decision-making processes rather than hindering them.
We seek someone who is not only skilled at building but also comfortable oscillating between detailed analysis and strategic planning, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The right candidate will elevate our operational standards and help steer Acumatica into its next phase of growth.
This position reports to the CFO, and we offer the flexibility of remote work within the United States.
