As the Director of Project Management for our Oncology division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping partnership strategies for clinical trials and programs. Collaborating closely with our project teams, you will oversee strategic planning, coordination, and execution of clinical study projects, ensuring that they align with our objectives regarding quality, scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and foster collaboration among Project Directors and Project Managers on global project portfolios.
- Provide strategic oversight for all clinical programs, and manage unique activities as needed.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for study sponsors beyond project management.
- Enhance the profitability of the Project Management organization to meet budgetary targets.
- Evaluate and manage resource allocations to meet cost, time, and quality benchmarks.
- Recruit, train, and develop talent for project leadership roles.
- Offer technical support and guidance to Project Managers, including scope definition and risk management.
- Identify and escalate any impacts on project scope, resources, schedules, or budgets.
- Uphold high-quality standards and ensure compliance with SOPs, project plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Development on opportunity development, proposals, and budgeting efforts.
- Manage interdependencies among projects to achieve program milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct evaluations and implement necessary adjustments for all projects.
- Measure KPIs and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
- Embody the values of Precision Medicine Group, emphasizing quality, collaboration, and performance.
- Manage the workload of supervised staff, with ongoing assessment and adjustments as needed.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and annual performance reviews for Project Directors and Project Managers.
