As a vital member of our leadership team, you will oversee our Rail & Systems Practice, emphasizing project execution, resource allocation, business expansion, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Direction
- Utilize insights from clients and industry trends to pinpoint future challenges, risks, and opportunities that will shape AECOM's capabilities in systems.
- Engage with key stakeholders within AECOM and our clients to adapt to evolving transport needs, contributing to the development of new capabilities and strategic investments.
- Support existing initiatives in Systems while identifying new opportunities that will drive AECOM's growth.
Safety Leadership
- Foster a robust safety culture within your team and across all projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and reporting standards.
- Advocate for safety initiatives and engage in safety training, showcasing commitment to the health, safety, and wellbeing of all team members.
- Lead by example, prioritizing safety in all project delivery aspects.
Financial & Operational Leadership:
- P&L Management: Assume full responsibility for the financial health of the sub-business line, focusing on revenue growth, margin enhancement, and overhead management.
- Utilisation: Actively manage the billable hours of your team to meet or exceed regional targets, ensuring a balanced approach between project commitments and professional development.
- Offshore Integration (EC): Champion our Global Enterprise Capability (EC) teams by driving the strategy to transition delivery work to our offshore hubs, ensuring competitive pricing and 24/7 delivery excellence.
Project Delivery & Business Development
- Winning Work: Direct the pursuit and acquisition of new business opportunities, particularly focusing on contracts valued up to $5 million. Collaborate with clients and regional colleagues to drive success.
- Identify and cultivate a sustainable pipeline of opportunities to ensure business growth.
