An Overview of This Role
As the Director of Regional Sales for France, you will be responsible for devising and executing a strategy to elevate GitLab's presence in the region. Your role includes building and leading a high-performing Account Executive team, implementing disciplined sales processes informed by data, and maintaining close engagement with key accounts. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will collaborate across account management, customer success, marketing, product, engineering, and operations to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for GitLab customers while expanding our market share. This position is pivotal in shaping GitLab's go-to-market strategy in France, driving new logo acquisition and expansion efforts, and influencing the delivery of our open source and DevSecOps narrative to a diverse customer base, all while achieving ambitious booking and ARR growth targets.
What You Will Do
- Lead the growth of GitLab’s business in France by developing the regional sales strategy, enforcing pipeline discipline, and executing day-to-day operations to meet quarterly bookings and ARR targets.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, actively participating in customer meetings and exemplifying a high-activity, field-oriented approach.
