Join AbbVie as the Director of Search & Evaluation Project Management, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our global Business Development initiatives. This position involves executing strategic collaborations with academic institutions, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and venture firms. You will lead global search efforts for high-value assets, ensuring alignment with AbbVie’s Research & Development pipeline goals. As a key member of the Search and Evaluation team, your leadership will drive seamless execution of our Therapeutic Area strategies alongside S&E TA Leads.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the Search and Evaluation lead in all ongoing due diligence efforts.
- Coordinate activities and deliverables as a core member of the Search and Evaluation team.
- Contribute to cross-functional discussions from both program management and strategic perspectives.
- Lead cross-functional diligence efforts with external partners and internal experts.
- Proactively manage and communicate risks across the deal portfolio.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and guide discussions for effective decision-making.
- Monitor team performance, sharing insights to enhance consistency across the portfolio.
- Navigate governance processes efficiently to ensure effective deal progression.
- Collaborate closely with S&E operations on the scheduling of external partnering events.
