About the role:
Headway is in search of a strategic, results-driven leader to step into the role of Head of Total Rewards & People Operations. This pivotal position will oversee our Total Rewards, People Operations, and People Analytics teams, ensuring that we operate with precision, scalability, and discipline as we continue our growth trajectory.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that empower Headway to provide exemplary compensation and benefits programs, create seamless employee experiences, and leverage data-driven insights for our workforce. This role is essential in establishing the infrastructure necessary for operating as a public company, enhancing our incentive architecture, benefits strategy, and operational systems to attract and retain top-tier talent.
This senior leadership position will collaborate closely with our executive team on all matters related to compensation and rewards, encompassing executive compensation strategy and enterprise-wide adjustments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and managing complex compensation programs at scale, alongside the operational expertise to develop resilient systems that foster long-term growth.

- Guide and mentor the Total Rewards, People Operations, and People Analytics teams, nurturing a high-performance culture that emphasizes feedback and aligns with business objectives.
- Steer the People Team's AI strategy, pinpointing opportunities where AI can enhance efficiency and quality across Total Rewards, Operations, Analytics, and HRBP workflows, and implementing transformative initiatives.
