Role Overview
The Head of User Acquisition will spearhead a transformative approach to UA within our organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dynamic department dedicated to providing UA-as-a-Service for our diverse product teams. You will streamline operations, enhance efficiencies, and formulate a cohesive strategy for all paid traffic channels. Additionally, you will mentor and guide a talented team of UA Managers spread across various projects, serving as the essential link between product development, creative initiatives, and analytics. This leadership position is designed for an individual passionate about data-driven strategies and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a centralized User Acquisition Department that supports multiple subscription products.
- Develop and take ownership of the overall UA strategy across all platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
- Create scalable processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), testing frameworks, and reporting systems to optimize performance.
- Define department-wide and individual UA OKRs/KPIs to measure success.
- Manage and mentor a team of cross-platform UA Managers embedded within different product teams.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management processes within the UA function.
- Foster a culture of high talent density that encourages performance, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Manage substantial budgets across all platforms and products to ensure efficient customer acquisition costs (CAC) and positive return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Implement strategic growth initiatives based on lifetime value to customer acquisition cost (LTV:CAC) ratios, retention rates, onboarding conversions, and average revenue per user (ARPU).
- Collaborate with data science teams to develop and refine advanced analytics and attribution models.
- Own the testing roadmap, including A/B tests, geo-expansion, channel scaling, and creative iterations.
